The whole making friends part is exceptionally hard at UTSG if you are a commuter, but the one thing I can tell you is that attending frosh week is absolutely essential. Because of frosh week, I've been made a house associate at the house I stayed at and have made so many friends. Meanwhile, my high school friend who didn't go to frosh is switching out as well because she had a hard time making friends. UTSG is a big and scary place for a commuter, but thanks to frosh week, I feel like I belong. -Anonymous

I do need to chime in that Frosh is still a hit and miss - I do know a few people who found that Frosh was “useless.” But then I do know people whom have actually formed a close circle of friends, thanks to Frosh week.

ANYWAYS. Thanks for the input anon. You’ve actually educated me too - I didn’t attend Frosh (monayy i$$ues) and so now I think I’ll be able to better inform people on reasons why UTSG didn’t work out for me, now that I somewhat understand my situation better.
